Step 1: wash the floor:

First thing which you need to do is to wash the floor. Clear all the dirt and dust from the floor. If there is any water leakage in your place, you should get it done immediately. Once the paint is done, you will be needed to leave the floor to dry. Here, you have to use the decreasing agent.

In order to clean the floor, you have to wash it with water and rub the floor with the help of a mop.

Step 2: Sand and Vacuum the Floor

If your floor has any cracked places, you need to remove them from the floor. This is because it will make it uneven. With the help of the vacuum, you have to clean the whole floor. After that, you have to use the tack cloth and clean the residue.

Step 3: Fill the holes:

Next thing you need to do is to fill the holes. In order to do so, you need to make patches and mix them with the concrete. With the help of a trowel, you have to press them on to the floor. Allow the floor to dry thoroughly. On the other hand, if you have a smooth floor, you can move to the next step.

Step 3: Time for primer:

In this step, you have to use the paint roller brush and apply two coats. Don’t forget to allow these coating to get dry.
